Codeseed built the tvusage app as a freemium app. This SERVICE is provided by Codeseed and is intended for use as is.

This page is used to inform visitors regarding our policies with the collection, use, and disclosure of Personal Information if anyone decided to use our Service.

Installed Apps

The tvusage app ("the App") collects information about the installed applications on your Android TV device. This information is gathered solely for the purpose of providing you with features related to digital wellbeing, including but not limited to, screen time management and usage tracking.

Collection of Installed Apps Data

When you use the App, it automatically collects a list of installed applications on your Android TV device. This information includes the names and package identifiers of the apps installed on your device. You will be required to provide your consent to collect installed apps data when you open the application for the first time. Without access to installed apps, tvusage app cannot provide it's service. 

Usage of Installed Apps Data

The collected data regarding installed applications is used for the following purposes:

1. Dashboard Display: The App utilizes the information to generate a dashboard within the app, displaying a list of installed applications for your reference.

2. Screen Time Limitation: You have the option to set screen time limits for individual applications using the data collected by the App.

3. Remote Access Feature: If you choose to log into the optional feature called "tvusage remote," the App may securely transmit the list of installed applications to our servers. This facilitates the usage of the tvusage remote Android app, allowing you to view and control usage statistics from your mobile device. Incase if you change your mind then please drop an email to support@tvusage.app to delete all installed apps data securely stored on our server.

Log Data

We want to inform you that whenever you use our Service, in a case of an error in the app we collect data and information (through third-party products) on your phone called Log Data. This Log Data may include information such as your device Internet Protocol (“IP”) address, device name, operating system version, the configuration of the app when utilizing our Service, the time and date of your use of the Service, and other statistics.

Cookies

Cookies are files with a small amount of data that are commonly used as anonymous unique identifiers. These are sent to your browser from the websites that you visit and are stored on your device's internal memory.

This Service does not use these “cookies” explicitly. However, the app may use third-party code and libraries that use “cookies” to collect information and improve their services. Optional Request to Disable Energy Optimization

This permission, if granted, allows the App to maintain its functionality even when the device is in a low-power or battery-saving mode. Disabling energy optimization ensures that the App can continue to provide you with accurate usage tracking and digital wellbeing features without interruption.
